Preschool
Roots Academy Preschool is a full time program for ages 2- 4 with a full curriculum of age appropriate learning. Enrichment programs include music, Spanish, Ballet, soccer, weekly chapel time and Bible stories.
VPK
VPK is for students ages 4 and ready for voluntary pre kindergarten – follows Florida standards. Children must live in Florida and be 4 years old on or before Sept. 1 of the current school year to be eligible.

Click on, “Click here to register online,” read the instructions, click continue and then create an account.
Follow the instructions and be sure to print out the form for us at the end.
Sign the “Child Eligibility and Enrollment Certificate” on line 24 and date it on line 25. Turn this in with your enrollment paperwork.
Upload your voucher to your child's ProCare document tab for Roots files.
Parents Day Out at Roots Church
Parents day out is a part time program for ages 0-5. This program is open Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30am-12:30pm. These children will have open play time, outdoor playground time, a Bible lesson, and a story time.
AFTER CARE
Roots Academy provides after care for school age students K-5th grade. Our goal is to provide an after school program in which children have the opportunity to play, learn, and have fun in a positive and safe environment. Roots Academy's aftercare program recognizes the benefits of growing socially, mentally, and physically in a well rounded atmosphere. Tuition includes a snack, outdoor play, homework help, and a chance to meet friends and have fun. Roots does not provide transportation at this time - children must be dropped off to our campus.
Family Chapel
The first Monday of each month at Roots! We will be inviting parents to stay with their child for chapel on this special Monday. Pastor Arlie of Roots Church will lead us in worship and a very short message that will tie into our Bible Story and verse for the month. Each family will receive a take home page to have family devo’s at home and learn the memory verse with us!! We pray this is a powerful time for families to GROW STRONG ROOTS IN GOD'S LOVE!! Children will sign in, drop their backpacks in classrooms, and meet in the chapel. Aany school children without a parent will sit with teachers. Chapel will begin PROMPTLY AT 9AM

Roots Camp Days
Roots Camp Days are for students ages 5-11. When St Johns County Schools are closed for holidays and teacher work days - join us for a Roots Camp Day! Children will rotate through activities like crafts, games, music, playground, and more. Pizza is included. Cost is $40 per camper, and an additional $10 for first-time campers.
Things to bring to a camp day: backpack, water bottle, extra snacks to go with pizza

Summer Camp
Roots Academy offers a fun wide variety of summer camp activities! Each week has its own special theme. Crafts, games, group activities, opening ceremonies, songs, music, playground time, Water Wednesday, Pizza Friday, cheerleading, flag football, and much more.
Drop in for a Day
Roots Academy offers Drop in Preschool - we understand that parents may need occasional childcare for emergencies, unexpected need for childcare, or for a fun special day out for your child. Your child will need to be fully registered and all required documents will need to be in your child's file. Drop in care is for ages 24 months to 5 years old.
